Wednesday, 3 December, 2025: CAMS has just implemented a stock split, reducing the face value of its shares to ₹2 from ₹10. The company has finalised 5 December 2025 as the record date of this subdivision with the consequence that on such record date, shareholders will be allotted five shares of the company of ₹2 face value against each share of ₹10 face value. This will be the first stock split of the CAMS recorded in the recent corporate history.

Stable Dividend Payout During the Last Years

CAMS has recorded a history of dividends on a regular basis. It has already announced a cumulative share equity dividend amounting to ₹61.50 in the last 12 months. Dividends have recently been distributed of 7 November 2025 interim dividend of ₹14.00 per share, 8 August 2025 interim dividend of ₹11.00 per share and 15 July 2025 final dividend of ₹19.00 per share.

History of Corporate Actions

As per the corporate action history available publicly, CAMS has made no recent announcement of the bonus shares or rights issues. The recent stock split can be considered the only notable alteration in its capital structure in the recent past.

Investor Relevance: Improved Liquidity and Affordability of Entry

The split lowers the face value down to ₹2 per share, thereby making the shares more affordable to a broader group of investors that may boost liquidity. Since the overall value of holdings will be the same, the proportionate ownership of the existing shareholders is not going to change.

In the meantime the consistent dividends strengthen the profile of CAMS as a stable and income-producing stock which might attract the attention of investors who are interested in regular incomes but not in speculative returns.

Prospect And Market Implications

A mix of share splits and the history of dividend payments have seen CAMS putting itself in a position to involve more shareholders. The division can help in attracting smaller shareholders who used to find its share price expensive. However, there is no impact on the valuation of the investments of the existing shareholders.

As of 3 December, 2025 the share price of Computer Age Management Services Ltd was closed at ₹3,859 up 0.21% from its previous close of ₹3,850.80.
