Pfizer India Q2 FY26 Profit Rises 19.4% YoY to ₹189 Crore; Revenue Up 9.1%

Mumbai, November 12, 2025: Pfizer Limited (NSE: PFIZER, BSE: 500680) announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company reported strong earnings performance during the quarter. Its profit for Q2FY26 surged 19.4% YoY. The profitability was mainly driven by higher sales and improved operational efficiency.
Key Financial Highlights (₹ in crore)
During Q2FY26, the company reported total revenue of ₹642.34 crore, reflecting a 9.1% YoY and 6.5% QoQ growth. Other income, however, declined to ₹41.85 crore, down 2.8% YoY and 37.7% QoQ. Despite this decrease, total income rose to ₹684.19 crore, marking an 8.3% YoY and 2.1% QoQ increase. Total expenses also grew to ₹428.82 crore, up 3% YoY and 4.4% QoQ, slightly affecting profit growth. Profit before tax stood at ₹255.37 crore, up 18.7% YoY but down 1.6% QoQ, while net profit reached ₹189.02 crore, a 19.4% YoY increase and a 1.4% QoQ decrease.
Operational Performance
On the operations front, the company’s employee benefit expenses decreased. They were at ₹94.67 crore in Q2, down 6% YoY. Depreciation and amortization also reduced. They stood at ₹14.28 crore versus ₹14.99 crore last year. The finance costs were negligible at ₹2.13 crore. Also, the company recorded an inventory adjustment gain. It totalled ₹63.32 crore and improved gross margins.
