Key Trigger: Stellar Q2FY26 Financial Performance

The rise in the share price comes after the company announced strong financial results for the September quarter of FY26. In Q2 FY26, the company’s revenue from operations increased to ₹11,373 lakh from ₹9,454 lakh in Q2 FY25 and ₹6,037 lakh in Q1 FY26. This was a 20.3% year-on-year and 88.4% quarter-on-quarter rise. Total income rose to ₹11,471 lakh from ₹9,810 lakh in the same period last year. This growth was driven by improved sugar realisations and higher co-generation income.

Profit before tax stood at ₹1,704 lakh, up 23.7% from ₹1,378 lakh in Q2 FY25. This was supported by an exceptional gain of ₹1.50 crore on purchase tax incentive entitlement following a favourable Madras High Court ruling. Net profit rose 26.3% year-on-year to ₹1,456 lakh, compared to ₹1,153 lakh in Q2 FY25, while EPS improved to ₹16.93 from ₹13.41.

Sugar Segment Key Contributor

The sugar division remained the key revenue contributor, generating ₹9,952 lakh during the quarter, while the co-generation segment added ₹4,974 lakh. Combined segment profit before tax came in at ₹1,768 lakh, up significantly from ₹1,447 lakh in Q2 FY25. Equity remained strong at ₹53,624 lakh, including share capital of ₹860 lakh and other equity of ₹52,764 lakh.
